The First Lady of Sierra Leone, Fatima Bio was in Kenema, Dauda Town to witness the funeral ceremony of the Late Kema Kanneh who was her personal guard.

Kema died on Friday 10th February 2023 after sustaining injuries from an accident involving the First Lady convoy on their way to Freetown from Kono on Monday evening 6th February 2023.

The remain of Kema was taken to Kenema after she passed away at the hospital where she was receiving medical treatment in the early hours of Friday.

The First Lady and many sympathizers, families, and friends were all present to give the deceased her last respect before being buried

The Ṣalāt al-Janāzah (funeral prayers) was conducted at the Kenema Central Mosque Eastern Sierra Leone.
