President Julius Maada Bio joined family, friends, and Muslim worshippers at State Lodge to observe Eid al-Adha prayers.

The President called it a time to reflect on the love and mercy of Allah and to celebrate together in unity and peace. He attended prayers and later shared a message with the nation alongside First Lady Fatima Bio.

“Fatima and I wish you all a joyful celebration,” President Bio said. “May the blessings of Eid fill our homes and bring abundant joy to our nation.”

Eid-ul-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is a time when families come together in prayer, sharing, and gratitude. Across the country, communities gathered to pray and celebrate the special occasion.

President Bio’s message continues his tradition of joining national and religious events that bring Sierra Leoneans together in harmony.
