Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio is set to launch of the Feed Salone Programme in the southern region district of Pujehun on Monday, October 16, 2023.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Bio maintained that the country has commenced the journey towards building a food-secure Sierra Leone through the formal launch of the flagship Feed Salone Programme.

“A journey that will galvanise the resilience and ingenuity of our people, revitalise the industry of our farmers and agripreneurs and the expertise of all stakeholders towards advancing our government’s objectives of building a prosperous future for all through agriculture.” He said.

The programme stands at the heart of every development of the president and the launch of it in the southern region district, according to the President will enhance their future productivity of having self-food sufficiency in the country.
