In a move to further strengthen the long-standing diplomatic relations between Sierra Leone and the People’s Republic of China, President Julius Maada Bio on [date] formally accepted the Letter of Credence from the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Sierra Leone, His Excellency Zhao Yong, during a ceremony at State House.
Upon receiving the credentials, President Bio underscored the enduring and robust relationship between Sierra Leone and China, describing it as one built on mutual respect, friendship, and cooperation.
He conveyed sincere gratitude on behalf of the Government and people of Sierra Leone for China’s continued support and partnership.
The President further emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation, noting that sustained collaboration between the two nations remains vital for development and shared prosperity.
