President Julius Maada Bio has made a direct promise to the people of Sierra Leone that he will not fail the country.
At the closing of the Sierra Leone People’s Party 14th National Delegates Conference, President Bio said the event was not about rivalry or division. He said the party did not come as factions but as a family and that there were no losers. He explained that what the SLPP had done was take the first steps toward the 2028 elections.
He said the world had been watching the process. People in Australia, America and Canada had followed the conference from the first day. He said there were those who did not believe that the first party in Sierra Leone and the oldest party could meet in peace and produce a path for development. But the conference showed otherwise.
He said the SLPP is the best thing that has ever happened to Sierra Leone. He also said when the party fails it does not only fail itself but also fails the country.
He made a clear promise that he will never fail Sierra Leone. He said it is the land that he loves and that his oath is to serve it with everything he has.
President Bio said he is proud of the SLPP family. He said the party has delivered a successful outcome from the conference. He described it as something that shows discipline and focus.
He said the SLPP is now focused on preparations for the 2028 elections following the outcome of the conference.

Julius Maada Bio still lives in the past, 1996 when he stole the $18M, fled to Ghana and got away with it. He probably thought he had escaped justice. He has no shame to say that he will never fail Sierra Leoneans when his governance track record stinks and smells like shit. The people of Sierra Leone will teach him a lesson he’ll never forget either way he chooses. Sierra Leone doesn’t belong to him, not at all. If we are to carry out a DNA, Maada Bio should have been arrested long time ago and made him pay for all the ATROCITIES he has unleashed to the people of Sierra Leone. His Excellency, late Dr Joseph Saidu MOMOH had integrity, love, compassion, when he announced to the nation that he had failed its people. This didn’t mean he was lazy, in fact, his finger prints are all over Sierra Leone when he established important institutions in the country. He was smart, far more intelligent than dumb Maada Bio. Yet he had the courage to say he failed to properly deliver the good plans he had. Here is Maada Bio who is so empty and has brought so much destruction and done so much damage to the peace and unity of Sierra Leone telling his gullible supporters, not us, that he will never fail Sierra Leoneans. The flame of justice will engulf and devour him and his cronies forever so Sierra Leoneans can breathe, develop, be happy and live prosperous lives under Dr SAMURA MW KAMARA President of the Republic of Sierra Leone
