To strengthen the capacity of the State and increase accountability, President Julius Maada Bio has signed performance contract for the year 2024 with the leadership of all Ministries.

Each contract is the result of extensive deliberation and contains ambitious, achievable, measurable, time-bound, and relevant targets aligned with the New Direction Big-Five priorities, the MINDP, and the core functions of the Ministries.

The performance contracts outline the tasks to be carried out by each Ministry and its agencies throughout the year, with a shared focus on key end-of-year outcomes.

As it  provide a framework for evaluating the performance of government ministries and agencies over the course of the year, Performance contract if used perfectly will reduces the loopholes of corruption and close all avenues of abuse of office.
