The President of Sierra Leone, Dr Julius Maada Bio, and his wife the First Lady, Madam Fatima Maada Bio today signed a book of condolence in respect of the passing away of the Queen of the United Kingdom of Britain and Northern Ireland, HE Elizabeth Alexandra Mary.

The signing took place at the residence of the British High Commissioner in Freetown Sierra Leone.

Expressing his grief on Social Media, He said he is deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

He described the queens reign as one which was marked by boundless growth, peace and prosperity, making reference to her extraordinary dedication to her Country, the Realms, Commonwealth and the World.

With that, he sends his sincere condolence to the Royal Family, the UK government and the people of the UK.
