President Julius Maada Bio has disclosed that he held a productive bilateral meeting with Gerd Müller, Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, on the sidelines of the International Vienna Energy and Climate Forum.

According to the President, discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Sierra Leone and UNIDO, particularly in advancing the country’s national development priorities.

President Bio expressed appreciation for UNIDO’s continued support, highlighting its role in promoting sustainable industrial development and economic growth in Sierra Leone.

He also commended the organization’s commitment to supporting the upcoming West Africa Integration and Investment Summit, noting that such collaboration is key to fostering regional integration and unlocking investment opportunities across the sub-region.
