According to NEC eligible Sierra Leones will register from 3rd September, 2022 to 4th October,2022 for the President, Parliamentary, Local Council and Village Head elections to be held on 24th June, 2023.
Seeing this on social media, the popular Rapper and CEO of Red Flag Muzik, LAJ took to his Facebook page and wrote “24th June 2023 vote wisely”
King boss LA, who has been looked at by so many Sierra Leoneans as the voice of the voiceless and who has in his muzik career had songs that portray disappointment as to how the New Direction is going. In one of his songs titled “COMPLAIN” He featured Akman, Rap Gee and I-Tribe, where the artists detailed the daily realities in the country, including bad governance, police brutality, injustice, human rights violations, corruption and more.
According to Boss LA, he feels obliged as a citizen of Sierra Leone to advocate and educate his people through his God given talent – music. “It is my responsibility and I owe obligation to always speak about things happening in my country. I have done it during the previous government, and I will continue to advocate and educate my people.”
“This is not about personal gains or personal interests, it is about the greater good of the people.” He said in one of his social media posts.
Majority of Sierra Leoneans are at their deepest regret as to decision they took four years back as local commodities have climbed up the ladder and things getting difficult for the common man.
Looking at the said words by the King boss, he is provoking our minds that we think wise and revert our decision made four years ago and make things right come 2023 so that every Sierra Leonean can enjoy what it means to leaving in one of the richest country on Earth.
