Assistant Inspector General of Police, Mohamed Braima Jah and Director of Operations at the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) has disclosed that, the SLP is not ready to risk the life of any police officer going forward.

Speaking to the press, at the police press briefing at their headquarters in Freetown,  he maintained that, individuals who may plan to disobey may face the full wrath of the law, referencing the August 10th sad incident in the country coupled with other similar complaint from different quarters in the country.

As the country leads to election in June, he urged all political party supporters to be very law abiding and respect the rules of the game at all times for the peace of the nation. He cautioned voters to leave the polling stations after casting their votes on polling day and wait for the results peacefully at their homes.

He furthered that the SLP has introduced an election investigation body which may watch in all elections complains and react positively to those actions to maintain the peace at all times.
