The British High Commission in Sierra Leone has commended the government of Sierra Leone for the formation of a committee to look into the elections generally and proffer possible solutions and recommendations where necessary.

In their view democracy and democratic principles in a country is a cornerstone of democracy which hosts many government and oppositions over time.

They furthered that the parliament helps in the check and balance system which aid in making sure that democracy and the economy work for the interest of the people.

The Commission added that the national election system review announced is an important opportunity to ensure that the voices of everyone in the country are being heard and actions taken against them respectively.
