United States Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Bryan David Hunt, During a recent two-day visit to Pujehun District, engaged stakeholders on discussion related to fostering trade and investment relationships between Sierra Leone and the United States.
The engagement specifically emphasized on the significance of fostering political, economic, and social conditions conducive to enhancing trade and investment relationships between the United States and Sierra Leone.
Ambassador Hunt, in his engagement with local leaders, paramount chiefs, civil society representatives, and political party members also deliberated on the importance of implementing private sector-friendly policies.
He went forward to Highlight the need for political stability and national reconciliation, aiming at strengthening opportunities for greater U.S. commercial collaboration in the district.
In his interactions, the Ambassador recognized the potential of Pujehun District as a key player in realizing mutually beneficial trade prospects. He expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality shown by the people of Pujehun.
