Caritas Freetown welcomed a team of Spanish doctors on October 4, 2024, as part of the ongoing Malaga-Freetown Surgical Campaign.

The medical team, received by Rev. Fr. Peter Konteh at Lungi International Airport, will collaborate with local healthcare professionals to provide essential surgical procedures to underprivileged patients, particularly at Christ King Children’s Hospital.

Fr. Konteh expressed gratitude for the partnership, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration in addressing healthcare challenges.

The campaign, organized in collaboration with the Aciss Monda organization, highlights the power of global cooperation in improving healthcare access for vulnerable communities.
