With 20 years of existence, the Chairman and owner of Sierra Leone Premier League Club FC Kallon, Mohamed Kallon,  has been  eyeing  their transformation  from  an  amateur into a professional club.

FC Kallon is exactly twenty  years old, after Sierra  Leone Football  icon Mohamed  Kallon acquired  the club from Sierra Fisheries  in 2002.  The Former Leone Stars Captain has disclosed plans too restruc and transform FC Kallon into a Professional  club in Africa.

The “Cavaliers” won both  the Sierra Leone Pre League  in 2006 and the FA Cup in 2007, less than a decade after its establishment.  They last participated in continental  football  back in 2012.

Both the male senior  category  and FC Kallon female are part of the top-tier  leagues  in the country,  and it has further  structures, including  the division one side, youth categories,  a Secretariat,  a football  ground, a sales  shop on the and in 2021 it was  ranked  24th on the African continent with the highest  number  of outgoing  transfers  for the last decade.

The club’s  owner  said the first  plan to transform  FC Kallon from  an amateur  into a professional football  club is by creating  VIP whatsapp  group where  ideas will be discussed.

In a recent video, Kallon continued  to call on fans to purchase  the supporters  items including orders  outside Sierra Leone  through  Online Shopping to help the club achieve  its target  destination.

Mean, the Cavaliers  will  face Bouffls of Benin  in the forthcoming CAF Cup preliminary  round.
