The Rise Charity Foundation, with support from donors has facilitated the release of four inmates in the southern city of Bo.
The four inmates who were jailed for minor offenses were released on Tuesday, September 12. The Charity was able to pay fines attached to the convicts sentences before their release.
The Foundation has dedicated to the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates into society which may be done through skills development, education, and counselling, adding that, they aim to equip them with the tools they need to successfully reintegrate and lead fulfilling lives.
“We are currently working on our website and staffing in the quest to start the foundation running,” Prezo Koroma, the Founder of the Foundation said.
