At the African Food Systems Forum in Rwanda, Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, held a productive meeting with Rwanda’s Prime Minister, Édouard Ngirente, to strengthen bilateral relations.
During their session, the two ministers came to the implementation of existing agreements and MOUs between Sierra Leone and Rwanda.
Earlier in his address to the forum on the topic of the Sierra Leone Legacy Program; Country Dealroom Launch, the Chief Minister of Sierra Leone said that building an inclusive food system is key to a sustainable future for Africa with the launch of the “Feed Salone” initiative by our President H.E Rtd Brigadier Julius Maada Bio in Sierra Leone.
Chief Minister Sengeh also expressed how the Government of Sierra Leone is boosting local economies and ensuring that everyone has access to locally produced food.
