The Ministry of Information and Civic Education has launched the Civic Day Series: Government at Your Doorstep in Kambia District.

This initiative, aligned with President Dr. Julius Maada Bio’s vision, aims to bring the government closer to the people and make citizens active participants in the decision-making process.

In Kambia, a wide range of stakeholders came together, including government officials, civil society organizations, religious leaders, traditional leaders, youth groups, and women’s associations. The discussions covered important topics such as the Constitutional Review, National Census, Health Care, Energy, and the Big Five Delivery.

The Ministry is working to foster direct communication between the government and local communities, ensuring that citizens’ concerns are heard. These regional engagements are set to continue across Sierra Leone, giving people the chance to engage with the government on critical issues affecting their daily lives.

The event is being followed across social media and other media platforms, allowing everyone to stay informed and involved in shaping the future of the country.
