Colonel Sheik Sulaiman Massaquoi, Acting Director of the Sierra Leone Correctional Service, has vehemently denied online rumors claiming his resignation.
In a statement released today, Massaquoi described the information as “false and baseless,” aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
The rumors surfaced earlier on social media, sparking immediate speculation. However, Massaquoi swiftly moved to dispel them, assuring the public of his continued commitment to his duties and oath of office.
“My loyalty to the democratically elected President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Julius Maada Bio is unwavering,” he stated in a statement.
