High Court Judge, Justice Adrian Fisher has slammed an injunction restraining all Parties, ITGC, including the Chairman and Secretary from carrying out any activity regarding ITGC pending the final determination of the Ruling in Contempt proceedings.
This comes as a result of several complaints against the ITGC chairman Alfred Peter Conteh of maladministration.
Justice Adrain Fisher has banned the ITGC and APC from releasing any press release, participate in any radio discussion, print publications, and any social media platform about the court issue in the APC.
The Inspector General of Police was also ordered to effect the arrest and brought to the court any individual or group going against this order.
Justice Adrian Fisher said he decided to take such a decision because under 35 of the high court rule of 2007 provides that “the court may grant an injunction by an interlocruching order in all cases in which it appears to the court to be just or convenient to do so and the other may be made either unconditionally or upon such terms and conditions as the court considers just”.
The matter will come up in court on the 23 of November 2022 for a ruling.
