The Magistrate of Court No.3 at the Pademba Road Magistrate Court, His Worship Magistrate Hadiru Daboh has on the 20th February,2023 represented the Judiciary of Sierra Leone in Abidjan.

The seminar is focused on ‘’Repression of crimes committed at Sea: Armed Robbery, Maritime Privacy, Illegal Migration, Narcotrafic, and IUU Fishing.

‘’The law of the sea is something that is very old as the human race and it was customary, People were ruled by customs and traditions of their areas. With the development of laws, particularly the United Nations convention in 1982, we started getting guidelines when these conventions were codified’’. He stated.

The engagement is planned to have these African Countries to understand and work in cordial relation in ensuring that, these crimes are fought unilterally.
