Sierra Leone’s Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (MBSSE), David Monina Sengeh has called on the Sierra Leonean pubic to have some patience with them, as they have just made the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results available on their SMS result checker.

The Minister made this call on a post shared on his social media page.

“What happens when 100,000 candidates and their two parents and their teachers try to check for their results at the same time? It jams. Patience. For dis back una dae cuss wi? Aye bo. We need self love. Self love. Self love. Love yourselves before you can love others. Our generation can be different. Let’s love ourselves,” he stated.

According to Minister Sengeh, this is the best BECE performance yet, adding that the best candidate in the 2022 BECE is a female with perfect scores of 8 ones.

“Today, we have released the 2022 BECE as submitted by our partner WAEC. Congratulations to all candidates and especially WRIGHT BINTU LOUIS who got straight As in all her subjects (Agg 6). Any citizen can now check their result using our SMS Result Checker,” he stated on an earlier post.

  • Text RESULT to 468
  • Select option 2 (BECE)
  • Enter your candidate number
  • Wait for your result
