Minister of Education Dr. Moinina David Sengeh and popular whistle-blower Dr. John Idriss have recently been going against each other on social media over the issue of using soldiers as Teachers.

This comes after popular whistle-blower Dr. John Idriss Lahai accused the Minister of Education of now using Soldiers to replace Teachers in the classroom after Teachers in sierra leone went on strike action, Dr. L.ahai said that having soldiers in the classroom as teachers should be out of the equation, Dr. Lahai said this is a wrong move that will put fear into the kids and even the parents
“We have teachers without pin codes and youth service corps, they should be capable of doing the job,” he writes

This accusation by Dr. Lahai comes after The Minister of Education in a tweet made mentioned discussing with Col.Dr. R.S Bockarie how the Armed Forces can continue to work with the Ministry of Education in transforming Education and stated that Military Officers now teach part-time and May be sent to remote Schools,

Dr. Lahai went on to state that Some soldiers are suffering from a psychic Ric disorder called pedophilia — a disorder that causes an adult to fantasize about or sexua| with a child.

He furthered that he hope the minister will get the relevant authorities to do a thorough criminal history check and Psychological assessment on these soldiers before they were allowed to teach our female students, especially female students in the rural areas.

“A soldier can be a pedophile, but the mere presence of his uniform and boots and 32-pattern-belt (not to mention his gun) is enough to silence the people in rural communities. Fearing not to expose their families to harm, some survivors may laugh it off; they will never report the matter to the police”. He states

Minister Dr. Moinina David Sengeh, in response called Dr. Lahai an attention seeker and inquisitive and a pseudo-Intellectual ( someone who is not genuine; spurious or sham)

This gives cause for Dr. Lahai to be angry and reply to the minister saying he has the effrontery to call him pseudo-intellectual on Facebook

“you get mind for calling me pseudo-intellectual na Facebook? You krase or watin? Mtchewwwww”. He writes

Dr. Lahai went on to state that before the Minister was kicked out of Renaissance Movement’s listserv or WhatsApp group, he was stealing their ideas, (ideas that they usually present in the group). Dr. Lahai went on to allege that the minister convert their ideas into his policies and present them to President Bio.

Dr. Lahai went on to state that the minister should not allow him to spill the bins, because if he did, everyone (including the president) will know that all the minister’s brilliant ideas were the intellectual property rights of others (members of the Renaissance Movement). He states

The minister is yet to respond again after this other allegation by Dr. Lahai
