The Deputy Minister of Health and Sanitation, Princes Dugba, on the Margins of the 5th Global Ministerial Summit has reaffirmed Government’s commitment to fully endorse the Monteux Charter on patient safety.
Princes Dugba joined dozens of global leaders and partners at the Summit on the implementation of patient safety and international cooperation in Monteux, Switzerland.
The Deputy Minister assured that Sierra Leone’s Government is of great concern for the health sector and the different help and programs rolled out in the country which she mentioned as ‘’ Less harm, better care-from resolution to implementation’’.
She had a productive engagement and discussion on cooperation and technical support for Sierra Leone to enhance patient safety with the director general of WHO, Tedros Adhanom.
She also made an engagement on successful exchange with the new president of the Swiss Federation, Alain Berset who expressed great interest in Sierra Leone.
