Sierra Leone’s Deputy Minister of Information and Civic Education, Yusuf Keketoma Sandi has thanked and appreciated the leader of the main opposition, All Peoples Party (APC) Samura Kamara for a show of leadership during and after the mediated peace dialogue.
He maintained that they were sent by President Maada Bio to fully participate in the dialogue because he believed in democracy and the active participation of the opposition.
“Our commitment we made for the past three days in the dialogue is to totally commit ourselves to the peace and sustainability of the nation” he stated adding that is a win-win situation.
He also thanked and appreciated Samura Kamara for leading his party into this peace dialogue as well as accepting its dictates.
“We have come together now, the SLPP and the APC. That is why I want to thank Dr. Samura Kamara very much for the show of leadership as it is not easy to put a tea together like that” he noted.
He called on all citizens to support the Agreement between the Government of Sierra Leone and the All People’s Congress and to use the positive energy to focus on development.
