DHSE Engages Key Partners on Pandemic Challenges
Mohamed Aruna The Directorate of Health Security and Emergencies (DHSE) which has the mandate to provide public health emergency preparedness leadership, scientific and technical service at the Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MOHS) has held its weekly EPRRG meeting with key partners.
The engagement was based on the motive to discuss the nationwide pandemic’s challenges and strategize on possible solution roles together with the partners.
In the meeting many things were highlighted for reviewed as possible and workable plans ranging from a need for vigilance, collaboration, healthcare infrastructure, equitable vaccine distribution and community engagement among others.
With the different strategies highlighted and noted together with the partners, the DHSE is believed to have strategies and plans to be ahead and at the helm of affairs in the provision of a good healthcare for the people of Sierra Leone.
