The Disabled International Foundation (DIF) UK/Sierra Leone has paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr David Moinina Sengeh, at State House, where he was presented with an International Leadership Award as part of the Foundation’s 25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee celebrations.

The Silver Jubilee International Leadership Award recognises Dr Sengeh’s outstanding contributions to innovation, leadership, and inclusive governance, particularly his efforts to empower young people and support marginalised communities through the Radical Inclusion Initiative.

Receiving the award, Dr Sengeh described the honour as both humbling and encouraging, noting that it has further strengthened his commitment to inclusive service, innovation, and social equity.

Founder and President of DIF, Dr Imambay Kamara, said Dr Sengeh’s work in education reform, digital innovation, and social inclusion has positioned him as a leading example of modern African leadership.

During the visit, Dr Kamara also announced that the Disabled International Foundation will officially launch its organisation later this year, marking 26 years of humanitarian service, advocacy, and impactful interventions.

He emphasised that the recognition goes beyond celebration, reflecting DIF’s mission to promote inclusive leadership and sustainable development.

The Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to supporting leaders and initiatives that advance social inclusion and national development in Sierra Leone and beyond.
