Dr. Alhaji K. Tarawally, founder and CEO of the LAKE Group of Companies, has achieved a significant academic milestone by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Relations and Diplomacy from Selinus International University in Italy, in collaboration with California University FCE (CUFCE) in the United States.
Dr. Tarawally’s achievement comes with an impressive 3.96-grade point average, underscoring his dedication to academic excellence. This accomplishment is the latest addition to his robust educational portfolio, which includes two master’s degrees completed within the last six years—a testament to his commitment to education and personal growth.
Dr. Tarawally’s academic journey spans several prestigious institutions, including Fourah Bay College at the University of Sierra Leone, Schiller International University in Germany, the University of Roehampton in the United Kingdom, and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). His qualifications include a Diploma and BA Honours Degree from Sierra Leone, an MA from Germany, an MSc from the UK, and a Leadership Certificate from Ghana.
In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Tarawally has made significant contributions to Sierra Leone’s creative industry. As the head of the LAKE Group, he has spearheaded initiatives such as the National Musical Festival, Miss Freetown Beauty Pageant, National Music Awards, and National Entertainment Awards, revitalizing the country’s media and entertainment sectors. These initiatives have provided substantial employment opportunities for Sierra Leone’s youth and established him as a key player in the country’s development.
