On Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024, the Directorate of Science, Technology, and Innovation (DSTI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), launched the Pregnancy Registration and Service Tracking application (PReSTrack).
This groundbreaking digital application is designed to address the country’s high maternal mortality rate by offering comprehensive monitoring and support for pregnant women.
PReSTrack aims to enhance maternal health outcomes by systematically tracking pregnancies, connecting women with essential healthcare services, and closely supervising high-risk cases.
The app’s innovative approach allows healthcare providers to register pregnancies, monitor progress, and ensure timely medical interventions, thereby reducing complications and fatalities.
