The body charged with the responsibilities to provide electricity in Sierra Leone, Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) has issued an urgent notice informing residents of Bo/Kenema of a temporal interruption of electricity supply.

According to their press noticed issued on Thursday, 8th September, 2022, the body wishes to inform its valued customers in Bo/Kenema that Alpha TND Contractors would embark on the rehabilitation of 33 /11 kV and 11kV indoor Substations in Kenema on Saturday 10th September 2022 from 8am-1:00pm In view of the above, residents in Bo/Kenema would experience temporal interruption of electricity supply.

EDSA south assured residents of both cities that all efforts will be applied to ensure that the said activity is completed within the scheduled period.

In the concluding part of the noticed, the Authority apologizes for any inconvenience the notice may have caused and extended their appreciations to customers for their patience and understanding as they continue to serve them better.
