As the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) entered its third day, Deputy Education Minister 1 Mrs Emily Gogra reported a successful continuation of the monitoring process. The day’s schedule included Integrated Science in the morning and Home Economics in the afternoon.
During her visit to several schools in the Western Rural area, the Deputy Minister observed the Integrated Science exams at the following locations:

The Deputy Minister praised the smooth commencement of exams and noted that no malpractices were reported or observed. She emphasized the importance of monitoring to uphold the integrity of the examination process, which is crucial for ensuring fair and credible qualifications.
“Effective monitoring not only supports the credibility of qualifications but also provides valuable data for policy-making and enhances public confidence in the education system,” she stated.
As Week 1 of the BECE Exams nears its end, the Deputy Minister extended her congratulations to the students for their dedication and integrity. She expressed optimism for Week 2 and encouraged continued diligence from both students and staff, highlighting the collective effort required to advance towards a brighter educational future.
