The Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL) has in a recent notice stated the guidelines to be followed for the two key Bye-Elections slated to be conducted in Port Loko Constituency 073 and Kailahun Constituency 005.
Here follows some information from that ECSL Release:
1. The Parliamentary Bye-elections will be conducted in Constituency 005, Kailahun District and Constituency 073 Port Loko District on Saturday 26th March 2022.

Note:
Observers from Institutions MUST BE accredited for the election.
3. VEHICULAR PASSES
The Constituencies have been divided into Zones;
Constituency 073, Port Loko – 04 Zones.
So each contesting Political Party should have 4 vehicles with FOUR persons including the driver.
Constituency 005, Kailahun District – 04 zones.
So each Political Party should have FOUR vehicles with FOUR persons including the driver.
4. SUPERVISORS
Contesting Political Parties should send in list of supervisors (12 persons) for issuance of accreditation cards and registration number of the vehicles they intend to use. They should have sent them to the Department of External Relations latest Thursday 24th March 2022.
5. The Tallying of results and the announcement of provisional results for Constituency 005 in the Kailahun District will be done at the Pendembu Vocational Secondary School by Commissioner Marian Sia Nyuma Moijueh on SUNDAY 27th March 2022 at 9 am.
6. The Tallying of results for Constituency 073, Port Loko District will be done at the Port Loko District Council Hall by Commissioner Edmond Sylvester Alpha at 9am on Sunday 27th March 2022.
7. The certified announcement of results will be declared on Monday 28th March 2022 by the Chief Electoral Commissioner, Chairman and National Returning Officer at 10:30 am at the EC-SL Headquarters in Freetown.
