EU Delegation to Sierra Leone has firmly denied rumors of suspending budgetary support to the country amidst election theft accusations.

In an official statement released to Sierra Leone Association of Journalist (SLAJ), the EU Political Press and Information Officer, Delegation to Sierra Leone, N’fa Alie Koroma clarified that they remain committed to supporting Sierra Leone’s democratic processes and that no such suspension has been considered or implemented.

This comes in response to speculations circulating in local and international media regarding potential repercussions following allegations of election theft in Sierra Leone.
