The CEO of Integrated Development Program for Teenagers, madam Veronica Fannah has launched a book in tracking the menstrual cycle of teenagers and young women.
According to Madam Fannah, the book, titled: “My Period Tracker 2023”, is about helping teenagers and young women track their periods and have total control over their menstrual cycle.
She said the book is essential for all young women to have as it talks about a lot of things that have to do with their hygiene during and after menstruation.
“Charting your periods can be empowering and captivating. This has an overall benefit on your health as a woman and gives you the power to take total control over your Menstrual period and its Management. Thus, as an organization working with Teenagers, we empower them to have full agency over their bodies,” Fannah stated.
“With the introduction of the Menstrual Cycle Books tracker, young women, and girls can use these tools as a way to properly understand monthly periods,” she added.
Madam Fannah disclosed that the book is now available for sale, and it is being marketed in schools. They were recently in the Government Technical school, where the pupils welcomed the idea of tracking their period data.
Prior becoming the CEO of Integrated Development Program for Teenagers, madam Veronica Fannah had worked with so many Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) over the years propagating the interests and welfare of women and teenagers in the country.
