First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone Fatima Bio has arrived at the Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America.

Madam Fatima Bio is in Boston on the invite of Harvard Law School and will be delivering a Public Lecture and Fireside Chat on Wednesday 6th March 2024, on Breaking Barriers, Building Future; Addressing Gender-Based Violence in the African Context.

At the Airport to receive the First Lady were Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the United States, Sidique Abou-Bakar Wai, Sierra Leone’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Amara Sowa.

Others are Sierra Leone’s Consul General in Miami, Mr. George Hamilton, Sierra Leone Consul in Boston, Massachusetts, Mr. Mohammed Barrie and Head of Chancery at the Embassy of Sierra Leone, Ms. Rakie Macarthy.
