First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Her Excellency Dr Fatima Maada Bio, attended the grand finale of Housemates Salone Season 4, where she served as Guest of Honour and Grand Award Presenter.
Addressing the audience, the First Lady expressed pride and admiration after witnessing what she described as the creativity, strength, and immense talent of Sierra Leoneans, particularly the youth. She noted that the finale was a powerful showcase of the vibrant potential that exists within the country.
Dr Fatima Maada Bio congratulated Miss Suad on her well-deserved victory and praised her for inspiring many young people across the nation. She also commended all the housemates, assuring them that they are all winners for the dignity, resilience, and character they displayed throughout the competition.
“You have captured the hearts of many, carried yourselves with dignity, and made us proud,” she said.
Encouraging the contestants as they return to their various communities, the First Lady urged them to use the platform gained from the show to inspire positive change. She emphasized that true leadership begins with service and reaffirmed her commitment to youth empowerment.

“As First Lady, I remain committed to creating pathways for youth empowerment. I believe in your potential, and I trust that you will rise to the occasion and be a force for good in Sierra Leone,” she stated.
The event marked another significant moment in the First Lady’s continued engagement with young people and her advocacy for creativity, leadership, and national development.
