First Lady Fatima Bio on Thursday October 19, 2023 had an engagement with Miss Sierra Leone 2023 contestants.

It was noted that the purpose of the visit was to engage and inspire the contestants through open dialogue, sharing her personal experiences in beauty pageants and imparting valuable insights which may also serve as an example for change for them throughout the program.

She interacted with each beauty pageant contestant representing various districts across the nation who had the opportunity to voice their opinions, ask questions, and share their personal experiences.

The First Lady attentively listened to their stories and provided informed suggestions and guidance, drawing from her own journey as a participant in beauty pageants.

She demonstrated and expressed her total commitment to supporting women’s health and well-being.

Every participant received a parcel containing sanitary pads, a vital item to ensure their comfort and dignity, as well as Sierra Leone flags, symbolizing national pride.

“It was an honour to engage with the talented and ambitious young women competing in Miss Sierra Leone 2023. Through dialogue and shared experiences, we have fostered a supportive environment that will inspire them to reach their full potential and contribute to the development of our great nation.” She maintained.
