The Students’ Union Government through its Ministry of Education, has on Monday 23 May 2022 written an appeal on behalf of the Students of Fourah Bay College for the Sierra Leone Grant-in-Aid interviews to be postpone for Fourah Bay College students.
The letter signed by SU President, Adama Sillah was addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, New England Ville.
According to the Student Union, currently, First Semester Exams are ongoing and the scheduled dates for the Sierra Leone Grant in-Aid interviews clashes with the exams dates, which will eventually militate against students not being able to go for the various interviews.
“As a Union, we are therefore pleading with the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education to consider the situation at hand and find it reasonable to postpone the interviews, as it will give the students of Fourah Bay College a fair chance to have the grant,” the Union stated.
“We look forward to your kind consideration.”
