The office of the president Fourah Bay college student union government has issued a statement, with regards a notice calling on students from different universities to engage in a planned demonstration.

The planned demonstration the statement says is a result of the increment of petroleum products.

The purpose of the statement is to disassociate itself from the planned demonstration for the reduction of fuel price.

Its further state that, as a student body, they believe in dialogue as the mechanism to be heard and call on students to stay calm as they find solutions on how to talk about it instead of fighting over it.

It ends by saying as students, they remain focused in their quest of delivering maximum utility to the studentship and assure all they are peaceful and enjoy having it that way.
