The Minister of finance, Dennis K Vandi has reportedly stated in his Budget Speech in the Chamber of Sierra Leone Parliament that the pressure on the wage Bill among other reasons is the creation of new Ministries Department agencies and Foreign Missions.

Minister Vandi referenced the some of the factors affecting the government wage bill when he  presented the Government Budget and Statement of Economic and Financial Policies for the Financial Year 2023 in the Chamber of Parliament of the Republic of Sierra Leone on Friday, 11th November 2022 at 10:00 am.

Also some members of the Diplomatic Corp, representatives of Development Partners institutions as well as Non-Governmental Organisation, District Budget Oversight Committee members, Local Community representatives, Non-state Actors, other Civil Society Organisation and members of the General Public were in attendance.
