The headquarters of Sierra Leone Commercial Bank (SLCB) was gutted by fire on Sunday evening.
The fire which broke out on the 5th floor of the building was swiftly extinguished by the National Fire Force Personnel.
The blaze, which occurred between 10pm and 11pm and lasted approximately 30 minutes, caused no injuries.
According to an SLCB director, the fire is now under control, and the cause is being investigated. The director assured the public that normal banking operations would not be affected and that customer funds would be safe.

How was the fire detected and swiftly extinguished? Are there stationed fir fighters? Was there somebody residing at/ in that f 5th flat at that time or always? I hope the maintenance works will not be another gold digging project. Has it been established the documents or that are supposed to be at flat? I am seriously scared of the future report in connection with this fire incident.
