Organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs in collaboration with the Reggae Union of Sierra Leone and Olive Garden, the One Nation Reggae Festival, was jam-packed with energy, culture, and unforgettable performances!

From powerful live bands to spirited performers and DJs, the night brought Reggae to life in true Sierra Leonean fashion!

The festival showcased the unifying power of peace among Sierra Leoneans, in alignment with the theme of our Year of Ecotourism campaign: connecting culture, community, and conservation.

Beyond entertainment, the event featured an educational session for students, organised with a view to transmit knowledge of our history and cherished ideals and values to future generations.

The event was graced by dignitaries and individuals from all walks of life, including our friends from the Caribbean. The respective speakers noted its significance not only as a way to reconnect with the songs of reggae legends, like Amara Kabba, as an avenue to celebrate our shared heritage, deep history, and the bonds that connect us all.

Serving as the emotional and symbolic climax of the festival, a symbolic flame of unity was lit to represent the spirit of togetherness and the ongoing journey toward liberation and emancipation.
