In a recent press release issued by the Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Information and Civic Education, it has been confirmed that five fugitives allegedly involved in the failed coup attempt of November 26, 2023, have been apprehended in Guinea.

The joint operation, conducted collaboratively by Guinean and Sierra Leonean security forces, successfully captured the following individuals:

Major F.S Kamara

Major Patrick Abu Odendeh Sesay (a.k.a PAO)

Major Juana KabbaFatmata Koroma

Major I Bangura

According to the press release, all five fugitives will soon be transferred to Sierra Leone, where they will undergo interrogation by law enforcement authorities.

The Government of Sierra Leone expressed gratitude to the Guinean authorities for their unwavering support and cooperation in facilitating the arrests. The collaboration underscores the strong bilateral relations between the two nations.
