The Flaming Evangelical Ministry has announced the passing of Rev. Ayodele Jos Ganu, described by the ministry as a dedicated pastor, administrator and long-serving contributor to its growth.
The announcement was made by a senior leader of the church, who described the development as “a heavy heart” moment for the ministry.
According to the statement, Rev. Ganu served the Flaming Evangelical Ministry with “unwavering dedication” and played an instrumental role in its early success.
His work cut across several key assignments, including serving as administrator, crusade director and ordained minister. The church said he would be missed for his “unequivocal commitment to the expansion of Flaming” and his “insatiable passion for lost souls.”
He also served as the Crusade Director for the Strategic Evangelistic Network (SEN), where he helped organize numerous crusades across various provinces. The church described him as “a hidden pillar of its formative years” who contributed significantly to its transition “from the old to the new Flaming.”
The ministry’s leader, who referred to him as “Mr. Ayo,” described Rev. Ganu as a close confidant and “a man I deeply loved and respected.” The statement also acknowledged his wife, praising her for standing “faithfully by his side through life’s challenges, offering unwavering support and love.”
Both SEN and Flaming Ministries described the late pastor as “a dynamic leader whose name will forever be etched in our hearts.” The announcement quoted scripture, stating, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.”
Funeral arrangements are expected to be communicated by the church in due course.
