The Judiciary of Sierra Leone has announced the funeral arrangements for the late Justice Ansumana Ivan Sesay, who passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, after a short illness at Choithram Hospital.

A solemn session and the opening of a book of condolence will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Main Law Courts Building on Siaka Stevens Street in Freetown.

Justice Sesay is survived by his wives, Mrs. Josephine and Aminata Sesay, his children Abdul Rahman Sesay, Ansumana Ivan Sesay, and Isha Sesay, as well as numerous family members, friends, and colleagues within the Judiciary.

The burial will take place on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM in Moyamba Wusha Village, Rotifunk, Moyamba District, Sierra Leone.

Justice Sesay, born on June 4, 1967, served as a distinguished member of the Sierra Leone judiciary.
