Sierra Leone’s Minister of Gender and Children’s Affairs Isata Mahoi has led Sierra Leone’s Fight Against sexual offences with a policy launch.

The Minister has unveiled a comprehensive policy brief addressing the implementation of the sexual offences (Amendment) Act 2019.

This has been regarded a transformative step towards justice and protection for women and girls in the country.

She has also joined the campaign of promoting more than 200 young people in the country on the fight to stop gender based violence as well as  the online harassment and abuse.

She has been a constant in promoting the fight as she puts it in one of his posts “my body, my right. Together we will end violence against women and children”
