Sierra Leone’s Entertainment Ambassador Dennis Amara Tura, popularly known as Kao Denero has during the Sarah Kallay’s spill it shows disclosed some of the challenges he faces as an Entertainment Ambassador.

Kao stated that after being away for a while now, he has been observing how things are going from where he left off, since his return.

The entertainment Ambassador said he is on a mission and until he accomplishes his goal he will not stop producing good music, adding that he has all that it takes to compete with international artists, but his only obstacle is that he comes from a small country where there is disunity and lack of support among entertainers.

He adds that with all these challenges he has continued to prove beyond doubt by doing great.

On challenges in the entertainment Industry, the Ambassador said the ride has been difficult as nothing good comes easy. He adds that the entertainment industry has been infiltrated by politics and certain individuals have allied themselves with politics or certain politicians. This has put most people in a position where they cannot compromise and work with someone who is not affiliated with their interests. Koa said.

Mr Ambassador further that the entertainment Ambassador appointment was never in existence and he did bring it to existence by personally advocating the president for the establishment of such an office because he wanted the leaders to give attention to the entertainment industry.

Kao said it’s disappointing that the people he is advocating for are thinking he is doing it for his interest.

“My passion is o bring people together, but even though it has been tough, I will keep going” he states

About being Controversial, the Ambassador said “most gifted people are most times misunderstood, as most times their actions are different, which people mistake for being controversial ”

The entertainment Ambassador further disclosed that the idea behind the national playlist is to bring artists who Ste not known to the spotlight.

He further discloses that the formation of the industry website is on the way which will consist of the previous playlist and the upcoming one.

In his office, Kao disposed of that the government has secured a well-furnished and modernised office space at 15A Bathurst Street in Freetown adding that they are now working to get a fully staffed office.

Also, he spoke about a national studio that will contain modern recording equipment used in both video and audio production but states that artists must register with the national entertainment register to get access to use such a facility.

On collaboration, Kao disclosed that the artists he likes to work with are K-Man, Emerson, and Funky Fred of jungle Leaders, but the entertainment Ambassador refuse to mention artists he will never work with.
