Following the public pronouncement on the Increase in the pump price of fuel per litre for Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene from NLe25.00 to NLe 30.00 the General Public is hereby informed that the Ministry of Transport and Aviation in collaboration with the Motor Drivers Union and other Key Stakeholders in the Transport Sector have agreed as follows for public transportation fares within the Freetown Municipality and the Provincial/Across-Border Routes effective Wednesday 30 August 2023
Effective from Wednesday, August 30, 2023, the following adjustments to public transportation fares will come into effect within the Freetown Municipality as well as on Provincial and Across-Border routes:
It is important to note that the Sierra Leone government emphasizes strict adherence to the newly set fare rates. Any deviations from these established fares will be met with the full enforcement of Sierra Leonean laws.
