The Government of Sierra Leone, through the Presidential Hajj Task Force, has announced the deadline for payment for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.

In an official press release, the Task Force stated that all payments must be made by Monday, 17th February 2025, at 2:00 PM.

The cost for performing the sacred pilgrimage remains fixed at $7,000 (seven thousand dollars) or its equivalent in Leones. Intending pilgrims are urged to strictly adhere to the following steps to secure their participation:

Application and Payment Process

Visit the Hajj Task Force Secretariat:

Interested individuals should report to the Secretariat located at the Old Gym House, Bank of Sierra Leone Complex, Kingtom, to collect, complete, and submit their application forms. A valid passport, with a minimum validity of one year before travel, must accompany the application.

Applicants will undergo a screening process at the Secretariat before receiving a payment slip. Payments must be made to the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank into one of the following accounts:

Submission of Payment Slip:

After making the payment, intending pilgrims must return the pay-in slip to the Hajj Secretariat to receive further instructions.

Deadline: Payments must be completed by Monday, 17th February 2025.

International Payments: Pilgrims living abroad can make payments through the official Hajj website, www.sierraleonehajj.org, starting 10th November 2024.
