In a collaborative effort spearheaded by the Office of the Chief Minister, Sierra Leone is set to host a crucial Public Private Dialogue (PPD) event on Tuesday, November 28th, 2023. Supported by the Sierra Leone Economic Diversification Project (SLEDP) and Invest Salone, this dialogue aims to catalyze and enhance the investment climate within the nation.

The National Investment Board (NIB) Secretariat, along with its constituent agencies the Sierra Leone Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SLIEPA), Public Private Partnership (PPP) Unit, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), and the Business Registry Unit of the Office of the Administrator and Registrar General (OARG) will convene at the Sierra Palm Hotel, Lumley Beach, Freetown, starting at 8:00 AM.

Under the theme “Improving the Investment Climate in Sierra Leone through PPDs: Laying the Foundation,” this dialogue serves as a crucial precursor to the upcoming UK-Africa Investment Summit in the United Kingdom.

The primary goal of this dialogue is to engage investors, exporters, and the general public in constructive conversations aimed at bolstering Sierra Leone’s investment landscape. By fostering a collaborative environment, the event seeks to lay the groundwork for an enhanced and investor-friendly climate within the country.
