The Sierra Leone Embassy in Russia has issued a press release regarding the payment of stipend for Sierra Leonean students studying in Russia.
It states that the government of Sierra Leone through the embassy in Russia has disbursed one hundred and seventy-six thousand and four hundred united state dollars as stipends to ninety eight students studying in Russia.
It also states that the embassy has also received nine thousand United States dollars as stipends for five students in the Republic of Serbia.
The Ambassador, Mohamed Yongawo extends his appreciation to President Dr. Julius Maada Bio for his continuing investment in the development of the country.
He also extends appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Technical and Higher Education, the Accountant General Department, and the Central Bank of Sierra Leone for their unflinching support.
